Dennis Jurss
founded Jurss Transport in 1969 with one primemover carting milk
and cream cans in to the Wide-Bay Co-op and
Nestles factory in Gympie. |

In 1973 a contract was
obtained from Wide Bay Co-op. When this Co-op
was taken over by other interests Dennis took on
a contract with Pauls Suncoast Dairies. |

Dennis gradually expanded his operation
and took on two
partners. Brian Robertson in Central
Queensland in 1991 and Tim Jensen in
South East Queensland in 2003. |

In 2009 the Jurss Group was founded which included the former Jurss Transport, Jurss & Robertson Transport and Wastell Transport businesses. This current operation covers Northern NSW to North QLD in farm milk collection and Australia wide in bulk food grade linehaul operations. |
