HISTORY

Dennis Jurss founded Jurss Transport in 1969 with one primemover carting milk and cream cans in to the Wide-Bay Co-op and Nestles factory in Gympie.
In 1973 a contract was obtained from Wide Bay Co-op. When this Co-op was taken over by other interests Dennis took on a contract with Pauls Suncoast Dairies.
Dennis gradually expanded his operation and took on two partners. Brian Robertson in Central Queensland in 1991 and Tim Jensen in South East Queensland in 2003.
In 2009 the Jurss Group was founded which included the former Jurss Transport, Jurss & Robertson Transport and Wastell Transport businesses. This current operation covers Northern NSW to North QLD in farm milk collection and Australia wide in bulk food grade linehaul operations.
